As a follow up to last month’s article, where we reviewed some important DO’s related to weight training, I would like to shift our attention to several critical DONT’s. These are so important to reduce the risk of serious injury in the weight room and remain safe. Again, many student athletes are far less supervised during their summer workouts than during the school year so having frequent reminders can be very helpful.
